Groundbreaking, first-of-its-kind league looks to build on momentum of exciting first season by deepening the talent pool 

PRINCETON, NJ  — The inaugural season of Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) has been one of excitement, growth and thrilling competition. MLTT is pleased to announce that registration for the 2024-2025 draft will open on January 15, 2024 for elite players across the world. Interested athletes will be able register for the draft at www.mltt.com. Registration for the draft will close on April 30, 2024.

Last year’s registration saw 180 players from 40 countries submitting their applications to join the league. The impressive diverse pool of players, with a notable number of Olympians, set the stage for a thrilling first season.

“Season 1 has surpassed our expectations in just about every way,” stated MLTT Founder and Commissioner Flint Lane. “We’re excited to begin planning and executing on Season 2.” 

Registrants will be evaluated by MLTT coaches in advance of Draft Day which is scheduled for May 24, 2024. It is important to note that not every player who registers for the draft will be drafted. Many players from Season 1 will return for MLTT’s second season, so there will be fewer roster spots up for grabs in year two.
