About the Role
We’re looking for a charismatic, high-energy Host to be the live voice and face of Major League Table Tennis (MLTT) events. As the Live Sports Emcee & Fan Engagement Host, you’ll lead crowd engagement across 16 competition weekends throughout the season, delivering in-venue announcements, player intros, promotions, contests, and more.
You’ll also help tell the stories of our players — conducting interviews, sharing insights, and potentially contributing to segments that air as part of MLTT’s CBS Sports Network broadcasts.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced live environments, loves sports, and knows how to hype a crowd while keeping things sharp, professional, and on brand.
Compensation: Per weekend flat amount + all travel expenses covered.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as MLTT’s in-venue host and emcee for all live competition weekends (September to April)
- Deliver live announcements, player introductions, sponsor reads, and in-game promotions
- Lead interactive contests and giveaways to energize fans and create memorable moments
- Conduct short interviews and contribute to player storytelling on-site and possibly on camera
- Help build fan-player connection by highlighting athlete backgrounds and personalities
- Work with the content team to contribute ideas for storytelling and in-venue engagement
- Keep the event experience running smoothly and on time in coordination with production and marketing
- Study and follow the event run-of-show and PA book with precision and adaptability
- Represent MLTT with energy, professionalism, and a team-first mindset
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a live event host, emcee, announcer, or performer
- Strong public speaking skills and a confident, engaging presence
- Ability to lead fan engagement activities with authenticity and energy
- Comfort interacting with players, staff, and fans on camera and in person
- Poise and adaptability in fast-paced live event settings
- Available for 16 weekends of travel between September and April (expenses covered)
- Interest in sports storytelling and player-driven narratives
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

- Familiarity with table tennis or emerging sports leagues
